^November 1941 - Hitlers armies have conquered most of Europe. The British
^have survived the Battle of Britain and endured the Blitz and fight on in
^the deserts of North Africa against Rommels Africa Corps. In the east the 
^Soviet Union has suffered a brutal string of defeats but as winter begins 
^to set in the Germans advance on Moscow slows and fresh Soviet armies from 
^Siberia gather for a counter offensive to save Moscow. 
^The allies need to begin producing the weapons of war to destroy the Nazis 
^and begin to transport them across the Atlantic to Britain and North Africa.
^Trade will be essential if the allies are to remain financially solvent. To
^trade succesfully the allies will need to secure the Atlantic for its merchant
^fleet and beat the deadly U-Boat wolfpacks.
^Can Spain or Turkey be persuaded to join in the fighting on either side? Can
^Rommel capture the oilfields of the Middle East? Will the Allied leaders decide
^to attack the Axis in Greece or Norway? You are the one making the decisions! 
^
^Your first turn should be spent farmiliarising yourself with your forces and
^the strategic situation. The Axis have the initiative. Planning campaigns, 
^setting wise construction goals and preservation of your forces is the key
^to long term success. Do not rush headlong into hasty offensives!
